I cannot say enough about my recent experience working with Mr. Furqan Gillon and AnnieMac. I have learned from previous experience that buying a house and obtaining a mortgage can be a very daunting process. I was so fortunate to be introduced to AnnieMac and work with Mr Gillon in this process. From our first interaction to discuss obtaining a pre-approval, He allowed me to feel at ease, calm and reassured that he would do everything to help me get a pre-approval “to make the best offer to get this house.” That statement said with such confidence gave me confidence that I had the right mortgage company and person helping me through this process. When I successfully obtained that pre-approval and my offer was ACCEPTED, I began preparing myself for what previous experience suggested was going to be a long, arduous and sometimes frustrating process. To my pleasant surprise, working with Mr Gillon and AnnieMac was the complete opposite of my previous experiences. I was overly impressed with smooth, seamless ease of the application and most of all the quick turn-around. Even when an issue arose, the time frame in which it was resolved was unremarkable. I thought this an impossibility! I do not use the word “impressed” minimally when describing Mr. Gillon’s work. It is refreshing to witness his approach and work with a diligence, conscientiousness and dedication that all companies would hope to have in the person that represents their name. I was impressed with his: “Gentle Persistence” - every document or information he required from me to complete my application was done with a (patient-urgency) that never felt pushy or demanding. It sounds Iike an oxymoron but it is greatly appreciated from a emergency physician who uses the same technique to help her patients. “Solution driven Mindset”- Not once did Mr. Gillon give up when an issue or problem arose. He exhausted every option possible. Selling and buying a home at the same time definitely proved it’s challenges; and even at one point when the it seemed like we had reached the end of the road Mr.Gillon left the door open with Annie Mac. When the opportunity presented itself a few weeks later, I was again welcomed as I walked through the door to pick up where we left off. “Efficiency” - Mr. Gillon and AnnieMac met and exceeded the level of expectation in regards to “turn-around time” for receiving follow-up on decisions and outcomes. Again- not my typical experience with a mortgage company. It is often times days or weeks. Mr Gillon would respond in a matter of minutes and never later than one day. If there was a delay out of his control, he kept me informed. “Personality” - As I have previously shared my experience of what has been a very daunting and draining process in obtaining a mortgage; working with Mr. Gillon was amazingly pleasant. He was very approachable, encouraging and his light-hearted nature made the process that much more easy. I was always convinced his goal was to conclude the application process with me in a seat at the closing table. I know he never gave up until that eventually happened on Thursday October 21st. Mr.Gillon is an asset to AnnieMac for all of the above reasons. I was fortunate to have been introduced to AnnieMac and even more grateful to have worked with Mr.Gillon who worked tirelessly to help me obtain a mortgage to purchase my new home. I have already told family and friends who to call when they are ready to purchase a home. Here is the main reason why: WHETHER I RECEIVED THE MORTGAGE OR NOT, THE WAY I WAS TREATED WITH SUCH KINDNESS AND DIGNITY SPOKE WITH THE GREATEST VOLUME. THIS IS REASON WHY MR. FURQAN GILLON IS AN ASSET TO ANNIEMAC. I hope he continues to be rewarded for his great representation and work.
